High School Acceptance Letters
Congratulations! The anxiously awaited High School Acceptance Letters have finally arrived!
Please note the following:
You will only be accepted to one (1) High School.

If you are happy with the school that has offered you a seat, you do not have to do anything else except celebrate your acceptance!

If you did not get into your first choice, you will automatically be put on the waitlist for the programs that you listed above the school that accepted you. In early June, you can add additional schools to your waitlist. See example below.

Cartas de Aceptación de la Escuela Secundaria
¡Felicidades! ¡Las cartas de aceptación de la escuela secundaria ansiosamente esperadas finalmente han llegado!
Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Solo serás aceptado en una (1) escuela secundaria.

Si estás satisfecho con la escuela que te ha ofrecido un asiento, ¡no tienes que hacer nada más que celebrar tu aceptación!

Automáticamente se le colocará en la lista de espera para los programas que enumeró arriba de la escuela que lo aceptó. A principios de junio, puede agregar escuelas adicionales a su lista de espera. Vea el ejemplo abajo.

Wait List
Good afternoon,
High school waitlists will open by Friday, June 10, 2021. After waitlists open, families can do the following:

Families will be able to view their child’s waitlist position(s) in MySchools.

Families will be able to add their child to additional waitlists in MySchools.
-
High school staff will be able to begin making waitlist offers.
-
If a student receives a waitlist offer, the family can accept or decline that offer.
Waitlists will close in August 2021.

La lista de espera de la escuela secundaria se abrirá el viernes 10 de junio de 2021. Después de que se abran las listas de espera, las familias pueden hacer lo siguiente:

High School Week
The purpose of High School Week will be to teach students how to navigate MySchools, which is an online platform used to search and apply for high schools in NYC. El propósito de la Semana de la escuela secundaria será enseñar a los estudiantes cómo navegar por MySchools, que es una plataforma en línea que se utiliza para buscar y postularse para las escuelas secundarias en la ciudad de Nueva York.
